Depending on the time of year, Lake Erie charters target walleye, lake trout, steelhead, perch and small mouth bass. Blue Monkey Charters primarily focuses on trolling for walleye.

Blue Monkey Charters provides all the fishing gear you need for a day on the water.

We suggest bringing drinks, snacks, sea-sickness prevention, and sunscreen. Sunglasses, wide-brimmed hats, and other appropriate sun gear is strongly encouraged. We also recommend a rain poncho or rain jacket. Your Captain will provide enough bottled water for each person in your party. There is a cooler of ice on board. Please bring your own cooler to take any qualifying catch home. Do NOT bring bananas...no, really. No. Bananas.

Prices listed on our home page are for your entire party, whether your group is for one person or more. We are priced competitively at $600 for an 8 hour charter or until limit-out.

No. For the purpose of personal comfort we recommend no more than 5 but will take up to 7 depending on combined weight.  

Unfortunately, there are no guarantees in fishing. We cannot account for factors that are out of our control. However, we do guarantee to do everything in our power to catch you a fish.

We love taking families out for fishing charters and little ones are always welcome. However, we do prioritize you and your children's safety above all else. Children 12 and under must wear a life vest. If you do not have one already, please let us know in advance and a life vest will be provided.

We will do everything we can to get you out on your scheduled charter. That being said - your safety is our first priority and we will not take parties out in dangerous conditions. In these instances, we will give you the option to wait it out as long as our schedule allows, reschedule for no additional cost, or issue a full refund.
